Bellinghamsters know what to expect when they walk into a Woods Coffee—great coffee and food in a unique northwest setting. But the all new Woods Roastery offers a completely new coffee experience.
At the roastery, coffee drinkers can get much closer to the process of creating the drinks they love. Each step is visible in a new way. Just behind the counter, coffee is roasted and cold brewed to supply all the Woods locations. The best-of-the-best Woods baristas are on hand to teach about coffee and the process.
The roastery features a simplified menu that is, “less about milk and more about coffee,” according to Woods owner, Wes Herman.
Single-origin pour-overs and specials like this Cubano Shakerato, mean there’s still plenty of variety to explore.
It’s called called the Cubano Shakerato. It’s a spin-off of a Cuban Shot shaken in a martini shaker, with a raw sugar rim. The effect is a cold, low acidic shot that goes down really smoothly, with the sugar creating a sweet crunch. Visit the new #WoodsRoastery this weekend and give it a try. #WoodsCoffee
The next time you need a caffeine fix, drop by the new Woods Roastery at the intersection of Lakeway and I-5.
