It started with a squirrel suit.
During the 2010 olympic games in Vancouver, two Western students took turns dancing in it on the sidewalk for tips. They made enough to buy a t-shirt printing press off craigslist and Disidual—the lifestyle clothing company—was born.
Disidual is a portmanteau of “distinct” and “individual” and the perfect name for this free-spirited brand. They make casual clothes for people who, like many Bellinghamsters, spend more time outside than in.
Disidual, and its sister company Brist Manufacturing, embody the spirit of Bellingham. They use 100% environmentally friendly inks. Even their hang tags are made from recycled paper.
