You can travel almost anywhere in Bellingham on an extensive network of well manicured trails. But these trails don’t happen by accident. They are planned, constructed, and maintained by a variety of entities including the Bellingham parks department, WMBC, and the Washington Trails Association.
The trail maintenance work done by the later two organizations, is predominantly volunteer-powered. WTA organizes trail maintenance parties and trips all across the state. Find one with a date and difficulty level that suits you, and do you part to help keep our trail system clear and clean.
