Aloha Poke, a Hawaiian style deli, is now open in Fairhaven.
Poke is a Hawaiian delicacy. Raw fish, usually yellow fin tuna or eel, is blended with roe, onions, soy sauce, green onions, and limu (seaweed) and served over sticky rice. If you like sushi, you’ll love poke.
Aloha Poke offers several different flavor combinations each day. If fish isn’t your thing, they do offer a few other salad types like kimchi.
They sell by the pound and be cautious; poke is surprisingly filling.
