Downtown Bellingham will welcome students back to Bellingham with a unique event on the first day of classes, September 21 just for WWU faculty, staff, alums, students, and their parents.
Bellingham is a college town. Much of our ethos is formed by the passion, creativity, and intellectual curiosity of students who pilgrimage here to study at Western Washington University. But many of them have been away for the summer.
After their first day of class next week, students will enjoy an exclusive pop-up market at the Depot Market Square. Downtown establishments like Casa Que Pasa, Goat Mountain Pizza, Backcountry Essentials, Spruce, and more will be on hand to showcase their business and offer special discounts to students. And next-door Boundary Bay Brewing will be throwing a party for WWU alumni.
Add a little music and a color-changing surprise from the Herald Building, should make for a delightful evening.
