December 4 | Downtown Tree Lighting
December’s Art Walk kicks off at Depot Market Square with a tree lighting ceremony led by Mayor Kellie Linville. A holiday-edition farmer’s market, and light show on the Flatiron building round out one of the most exciting nights of the season. You won’t want to miss it.
December 5 | Hotel Bellwether Tree Lighting & Lighted Boat Parade
Hotel Bellwether throws a fine tree lighting party in its own right. Trees throughout their lobby are decorated by local businesses, and visitors are invited to vote on their favorite. All the proceeds from this event are donated to a local charity. This year Skookum Kids is the beneficiary.
This event coincides with the Bellingham Yacht Club’s lighted boat parade, and their portico will give you a great view!
December 4–6 | Holiday Port Festival
The Bellingham Cruise Terminal hosts a family-friendly festival that includes performances by local choirs, bands, and dancers, gingerbread house display, horse-drawn wagon rides, and photos with Santa.
