The annual run is one of the many natural wonders of the pacific northwest. It’s a phenomenon unique to our region, and if you’ve never seen it, make a point to this year.
To make it easier, and to help explain what you’re seeing, the Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association is organizing a salmon viewing tour at Arroyo Park on the afternoon of November 12.
The park offers great views of Chum salmon as they run up Chuckanut Creek. NSEA naturalists will be on hand to answer any questions. Warm beverages will be available at no cost.
