Leadership Whatcom, the Bellingham Chamber of Commerce program designed to educate and motivate the next generation of community leaders, is now accepting applications for it’s next season.
20-25 professionals meet monthly for 10 months (taking summer break in July and August) in locations throughout Whatcom County. The group learns about the critical issues and trends that are shaping our community and specifically the business climate of the future.
2015 Leadership Whatcom alumni Becky Raney of Print & Copy Factory added “Leadership Whatcom is a powerful program that brings people together to learn many different aspects of Whatcom County. We came together to learn how to listen, work together, ask questions, accomplish goals and apply forward thinking to support our communities for a strong future.”
The program is focused on leadership skills and bridging generational barriers. The cost for Chamber members is $1,000 and $1,200 for non-members. Applications are due by February 16.
