From Friday 9/11 until Sunday 9/20, Bellingham celebrates craft beer. Each night there are multiple exciting events around town. Here’s our favorite from each day.
Friday 9/11 | Elizabeth Station: Opening Ceremonies to benefit Our TreeHouse
This is a great event to bring the family to. Adults will love the food trucks and great beer. Kids will love the face painting, balloon animals, and bouncy house.
Saturday 9/12 | Chuckanut Brewing: Oktoberfest
Sure, it’s only September. But that won’t stop us from partying from noon to midnight with live music, brats, franks, pretzels, and even a yodeling content.
Sunday 9/13 | Stone’s Throw Brewing: Tour the Construction
Newcomer to the Bellingham beer scene, Stone’s Throw is opening their doors to show us what they’ve been working on. We’re told both swag and beer samples will be available.
Monday 9/14 | Mckays Taphouse: Eastern WA vs. Western WA Brewery Showdown
We’re proud of our craft beer, but have to acknowledge the greatness found east of the mountains. Who’s beer is best? There’s only one way to find out.
Tuesday 9/15 | The Local: Strange Brew Night featuring some of the strangest beers from the PNW
Venture away from your usual order, just for one night. Visit The Local to taste just how versatile beer can be.
Wednesday 9/16 | Boundary Bay Brewery: 20th Anniversary Party
The first, and many would say greatest of the Bellingham breweries turns 20! To celebrate they’re offering 20+ craft beer varieties, the most they’ve ever served in one place.
Thursday 9/17 | Wander Brewing: Barrel-Aged Emissary Bottle Release Event
Tour one of Bellingham’s youngest breweries, and be among the first to taste a beer that’s been a full year in the making.
Friday 9/18 | Aslan Brewing: Open Brew-House Tours
Tour Aslan’s brew-house, and see where the magic happens. Tours start every half hour between Noon and 5pm.
Saturday 9/19 | Boundary Bay: Bellingham Traverse Finishes at Boundary Bay
The Bellingham Traverse, a multi-sport adventure race, finishes at the front door of Boundary Bay.
Sunday 9/20 | Aslan Brewing: Local Organic Farmers Market
Aslan hosts an Organic Farmer’s Market every Sunday night. If you’ve never experienced it, Beer Week would be the perfect time to try it out.
